There are lots of walking and cycling routes through the vineyards and along the riverside. We have bicycle's for hire, on request.

  • Horse-riding 2 km.
  • A 18-hole golf course 10km.
  • Canoe-kayak 10 km, fisching 7 km and a beautiful lake 30km away.

From L'Orée des Vignes and until 60 km around you will discovered :

The Val de Loire :

  • The Loire, considered to be one of Europe largest and wild river.
  • Cosne-sur-Loire and the vineyards of the Coteaux du Giennois.
  • Pouilly-sur-Loire a small village renowned for its famous wine : Pouilly-Fumé.
  • La Charité-sur-Loire : medieval city, surrounded by walls.
  • The Bertranges forest
  • Nevers : town of " history and art " famous for its colourful pottery and the convent of St-Gildard where the miraculously preserved body of Ste Bernadette of Lourdes lies.
